| The polar bear is desperately looking for some pray, there isn't very much in these days. May be he will not find enough for his winter sleep time. Combination from 2 kinds of wood, Teak from a fishing boat, the original paint and the bear from white poplar. There might be glued parts. |

| A cold polar day or night? A hungry polar bear is strolling through his territory. The close up picture shows in a yellow frame the rear side of this item.Is this eventually the future of the polar bear? I hope not.A small teak plank from a sunken fishing boat. |

| First there was the idea to design and carve the chess players like cheetah (the king),cobra (the queen), bears ( the castle),kangaroo (the knight), ostrich (the bishop) and the suricates (the pawns). Then, as I couldn´t find a suitable chess casket ,I had to built it myself. Just too much to do it again. |
