The polar bear is desperately looking for some pray, there isn't very much in these days. May be he will not find enough for his winter sleep time. Combination from 2 kinds of wood, Teak from a fishing boat, the original paint and the bear from white poplar. There might be glued parts. |

This lonely bison was made from a piece of driftwood and still has the original colour.(boat teakwood).I haven´t maid the coat yet.May be one day but it looks already pretty like this....the big picture still shows the Bison with out fur. |

This may be 100 years old Teak cut, was a part of a patio railing from a Karo house in Sumatra. Now it´s the home of this hard working elephant. Termites had been chewing away a big part of the softer wood. Size 14x13x4cm approx. |

Once upon a time these strong animals were forced to carry illegally cut teak wood out of the deep jungles of Myanmar. They had no choice but to destroy their own habitat.If they only were able to understand what they were forced to do.....a disc of very old teak wood from Java.... |
